Understand the repair
What this service does
Rust repair involves the surgical removal of oxidized metal to prevent the spread of corrosion across the chassis. We cut out the affected areas and weld in fresh steel or apply advanced chemical neutralizers to stop the decay. This process is vital for cars that have spent time near the coast or in high-humidity environments.

What you may notice
Signs you need this service
- Bubbling under the paint
- Orange or brown staining
- Flaking metal on sills
What can cause the problem?
- Salt air near the coast
- Trapped moisture in wheel wells
- Deep scratches left untreated
From inspection to finish
How the work is carried out

Inspect and identify
We grind down the affected area to find the 'clean' metal boundary where the oxidation stops. This ensures we aren't just covering up a problem that will return. For severe cases, we fabricate custom metal patches and weld them into place using a MIG welder. For surface rust, we apply a phosphoric acid converter to stabilize the remaining iron. The area is treated with a zinc-rich epoxy primer to provide a permanent moisture barrier. We then finish the panel with paint and a wax-based internal cavity spray for double protection.
