Understand the repair
What this service does
Deep scratches often penetrate the clear coat and reach the primer or base metal. We meticulously fill these valleys with fresh paint to level the surface without repainting the entire door or wing. This process preserves as much of your original factory finish as possible.

How the work is carried out

Inspect and identify
The technician uses a magnifying light to inspect the depth and determine if it has reached the metal. We then clean the groove with a prep-solvent to remove old wax and debris.

Repair the confirmed fault
Paint is applied in thin, controlled layers into the scratch until it sits slightly higher than the surrounding panel. This allows for a smooth level-down process once the paint has fully cured.

Check the result
The excess paint is carefully leveled using fine-grit wet sanding blocks and then machine polished. This creates a seamless transition where the scratch used to be.
The exact procedure depends on your vehicle and inspection findings. A technician confirms the work before repair.
Why it matters
Scratches that reach the metal will inevitably lead to oxidation and rust spots. This can significantly devalue your vehicle when it comes time for resale.
Before you drive
Avoid using DIY touch-up pens on deep scratches as they often trap moisture underneath.
